Pints for Pink - Raising a Glass for a Cure

Our Mission:
At Pints for Pink, our mission is simple but powerful: To raise funds for breast cancer research and patient support while bringing our community together for an unforgettable night of hope, music, and good cheer.

Every pint poured, every auction item sold and every dollar donated helps fuel the fight against breast cancer. We proudly donate 100% of net proceeds to the American Cancer Society through our local chapter of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Western North Carolina. These funds support their life-saving research and directly fund patient programs.

Our Story:
Pints for Pink began as a small idea - to turn community spirit into a force for good. At the young age of 37, our founder, Elena Tenzel, received her own breast cancer diagnosis in June 2023. Instead of letting it define her, she chose to have it inspire her — launching the very first Pints for Pink in Asheville, North Carolina. Thanks to the incredible generosity of local businesses and amazing community members, the inaugural 2025 event at Wicked Weed's Funkatorium welcomed more than 325 attendees and raised over $26,000 for the American Cancer Society, supporting breast cancer research and patient services.

Now, we're setting our sights even higher. In 2026, we're aiming to double the amount we raised last year and we know that with your help, we'll get there. Thanks to Highland Brewing and their unwavering support of local nonprofits like Pints for Pink, our 2nd annual event will be even bigger! We are looking forward to welcoming 500 guests to their Event Center on Friday, March 20th. Get ready for live music from local band Mission Accomplished AND local musician Aaron LaFalce! Delicious appetizers & desserts are included in the price of your ticket. Enjoy a stunning grazing table from the Asheville Charcuterie Company and tasty light bites from Tupelo Honey. We will have desserts from many local businesses with some of our larger donations from Nothing Bundt Cakes, Whole Foods and Fresh Market. Asheville's local breast cancer care teams will be making special appearances at the event. Michael Freas will be on site to photograph the whole evening, so start looking for that perfect outfit - PINK is highly encouraged! Join us as we raise our pint glasses to toast an unforgettable evening!
